Sexual Fluidity Amongst Millennials

I met him 6 months after I joined campus.
He was funny, gentle, classy and charming 😊.
Rodney (not his real name), took me to dinner at a fancy restaurant on our first date, made me laugh and ensured I got home safely.
He was consistent in terms of communication and actions. It was so easy being with him. 😊
On New Year's Eve, he took me to watch a movie, bought me chocolates and a New Year's card with a beautiful note indicating how wonderful it is to be with me. πŸ˜ŠπŸ’—
Despite all this, I still felt something was off. Twice he cut our lunch dates to rush to meet his 'male friend' who bought him his favorite milkshake. πŸ˜•
So on 21st March when he called to tell me it's over and that he needed to follow his heart, I knew what he meant.... He had fallen in love with his 'male friend'.
"I'm glad you're finally embracing who you are and found the courage to be with someone who truly sees YOU and loves you for who you are. You deserve it. You're a good man," I said to him.
"Thanks alot for understanding. You're a wonderful lady too and I hope you find someone who truly values you... Bye." He said as he ended the call.
I had only heard of such break-up stories until it happened to me. πŸ˜”πŸ’”

I'm a heterosexual 90's baby and we were raised to believe that homosexuality was wrong and alien. Well.. it's 2020 and sexual fluidity is at its peak. More lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgenders, assexuals, autosexuals, intersexuals, pansexuals, questioning and queers are openly expressing themselves and embracing themselves.

I believe that sexuality is a personal and private choice that should be respected. Whatever one does in their bedroom should not be a determinant of character, rights one should have, access to health services or career opportunities.
We all deserve the right to love whoever we want and whoever our hearts desire regardless of gender.
I believe that it is God's job to judge while ours, as humans, is to love and treat each other with respect. Why? Because none of us is perfect. We all have skeletons in our closest that we wouldn't want to let out nor be judged without understanding.
When we all choose to live in our authenticity, not only do we set ourselves free but we also set others free and prevent heartbreaks or traumas.
In conclusion, we all got one heart, one soul and one life and.. love... Is a choice that should feel emancipating.

The same human and privacy rights accorded to heterosexuals, why not accord them to the LGBTIQPA+?

Wanna Feel Sexy..? Watch Yourself Naked.

"Hey pretty girl..", Tori beckoned at herself while she walked past her bedroom mirror from the shower.
"You are so beautiful 😍", she said to herself as she dropped the towel and admired her bare self.
"Damn sis! I see you packing 'em curves! Twerk that girl", she complimented herself as she did a dutty whine.
"Check out your beautiful, glowy skin! And your smile lights up the world! I love you girl! 😘" she exclaimed as she blew her reflection a kiss
Ever since Tori started watching herself in her birthday suit, she's been really taking good care of herself.
Her skin care routine has become part of her daily schedule. She buys outfits that accentuate her curves and make her feel sexy and attractive.
This is why you should have a nude moment every morning:

1. Love yourself more
The first step to elevating self love is to see YOU. Your nudity is the outer intimate part of you that reflects how you feel about yourself on the inside. When you love every inch of your body, you feel good and and you'll have a positive attitude towards yourself.

2. Elevated self confidence
Embracing your spirit's cover is the first step to building self-confidence.
When you constantly check out your naked body, you start working on making it better and more attractive. You start speaking well and confidently about yourself; dress it appropriately and walk with a spring.

3. Feel attractive and sexy
Attractiveness is a result of a deep personal relationship with your entire outer and inner self.
Sexiness is about presentation. Not to be confused with skimpy or ratchet. It's about adorning your curves with what makes you comfortable and confident. After all... wouldn't it be great to receive compliments from your type of suitors? πŸ˜‰
Nude moments lead you to start dressing your beautiful body appropriately, ensure that it's always smelling good and looking good in public even when you're just going to the shop! 😊

4. Self care
Just like Tori, you start taking care of your skin to ensure that it's always glowing, start doing those situps or neighbourhood jogs you've been postponing 😊.
Speaking well and gently to yourself is an essential part of self care because that will mean no more harsh self criticism or negative talk.

5. Enjoy sex
Oh yes, when you feel attractive, sexy, have self confidence and take good care of yourself you'll understand your body's pleasure points.
Self love and high self esteem are the best recipes for great sex.

6. Positive body image towards others
We treat and perceive people based on how we perceive ourselves.
We tend to project how we feel about ourselves onto others.
When we love ourselves, we tend to see the beauty in others and spend most of the time complimenting them.
Besides.. The Bible clearly states.. "Love your neighbor as you love thyself."

So girl... Get your nude moment on! It's part of self care! 😊

Sex Is...

"Girrrrllllllll..... I got some gist for you!!"" Empress shouted as she approached her best friend, Tiara, at the restaurant.
"Spill the tea girl!" replied Tiara in excitement.
"Remember Jasiri... the guy I met at the seminar?"
"Of course I do. The guy who always got you giggling and took you bungee jumping." Tiara replied.
"Yes, him!! Oh my... That man turned into my Dzaddy last night!! OWH!!! Thinking about him just gives me chills!!!"
"Damn girl!!! Tell me more!! Is that why you're glowing???"
"It was AMAZING!!!! I felt so free!!! I like to be dominated in the bedroom and he delivered!! He also allowed me to be powerful. We were choking each other while I was riding him. Oh girrll!! And the way he whispered dirty to me while he nibbled my ear... aaarrgghhhh!!! He took me to paradise!!!! It was incredible!!!"
"Damn sis!! He really got you hooked!" Tiara exclaimed.
"Girrll..... I accept to be hooked." Empress responded with a dreamy smile.

Sex is a game of power
It's about openly expressing and experiencing how you perceive power.
Jasiri and Empress's case is a clear example of top in the boardroom but bottom in the bedroom. You're lucky if your partner understands Sub-Dom and gives it wholeheartedly and enjoyably.

Sex is the only platform where partners openly express their animalistic desires. Depending on your sexual orientation, moaning and groaning is a sign of approval and acceptance. It turns your partner on to know you're enjoying intercourse with them.

Sex is an expression of deep emotions.
Intimacy, love, attraction, lust, desire are all expressed during intercourse. Emotional depth determines intercourse intensity.
However, some people use it to mask depression, loneliness, anger, uncertainty and pain. Unfortunately, it never works because the only way to handle these emotions is by talking to someone, journaling or therapy.

Sex is a stress reliever.
There is magic that happens to your mind and body when you have sex with someone you're attracted to!
It relieves physical and emotional tension hence activating brain cells to work effectively which means you'll be more attentive in class, and perform better at work.

Sex is good for your skin.
Oh yes... good sex makes you glow.
When your tensions are relieved, the body releases feel good hormones which reflect in your skin and make it glow.

Sex is a confidence booster.
Good sex with someone you're attracted to and understands your sexual needs boosts your self-confidence and self-esteem. It reflects in how you walk, talk, dress, perceive yourself and allows you to feel and dress sexy. Basically... you feel attractive.

Sex creates a safe space.
When sex with your partner allows you to openly express your needs, pleasure points and power perception, it creates a platform for both of you to be emotionally vulnerable which is good for your mental and emotional health.

So, you owe yourself great sex, make sure you give it and receive it because you are the biggest beneficiary!  (Click the link below to tweet this.)

Sex is good for you! 😊
